Testimonials

LMA’s ‘Aussie Rock School’ has helped to develop some amazing young musicians over a number of years.

The Rural City of Murray Bridge has operated a youth live music venue ‘The Station’ for the last 10 years and seen many bands and solo musicians perform in that time.

Two of the most talented young musicians to play at The Station have come through LMA’s music skills development programs.

Kristie Dix is the front person for the awesome band ‘Sweet Anarchy’ who won Battle of the Bands 2015.

Will Couzens is the most talented charismatic solo performer ever to play at The Station.

The high level of skill shown by these young musos is a powerful testament to the quality of the youth music programs offered by LMA.

– PAUL ANKERSON, MURRAY BRIDGE

‘[I’ve been] involved with Rock School for 4 years, since I was 14 years old.

I started as a quiet high school student that barely knew anything about music, then after studying the LMA VET courses and with the help I’ve had I’ve learned how to record, mix and master music tracks, make music videos, how to work with a band, and be a confident musician.

I have gotten opportunities to play in many solo gigs and band gigs.

[I’ve] ended up getting paid work in the industry, traveling from Adelaide to Sydney to work with David Caplice, an artist manager and label director in partnership with Warner Music.’

– WILLIAM COUZENS, STUDENT

‘As parents of a talented musician, we were looking to for an organisation to further develop and enhance our son Max’s music skills.

Max was also hoping to join with like-minded kids that want to play rock music.

Since joining LMA’s Aussie Rock School, Max’s needs are being met through practical hands on experience in a professional setting.

With regular rehearsals, Max and the other students are also given opportunities to perform on stage.

This setting allows practical outcomes for all students. LMA’s Aussie Rock School staff are always prompt with replies to questions and they regularly update parents and students through social media sites like Facebook.

We have been so impressed with the quality of personalised service and high levels of practical outcomes for the students, that we are considering the possibility of purchasing a franchise.

Thank you LMA and Aussie Rock School – you rock!’
